Keep a Positive Attitude!
In everything we need to try to keep a positive attitude. Sometimes we may feel that is difficult. Tiredness, weakness, stress from work or family life, bad habits, diets and just plain old living from day to day can rob us of keeping positive from time to time. But our attitude will affect our physical health as much as our mental health. I know first hand it can be trying to always remain in a good mood. I try to each day find something I can be thankful for in my life. I always tell myself it could be worse and there will always be someone out there going through something worse than I at the moment. I also try to remember to keep on smiling even when I don't feel like it. I have also found that if I pick a good Bible Scripture to meditate on it will bring me to a place in my mind I need to be. I also have tried to see the good in others, I know at times we may find some in our lives difficult but if we look close enough there will be at least 1 thing in which we can pay someone a compliment and perhaps lift their spirits. When we take our eyes off ourselves and put them on others needs we then ourselves start to feel better. Also keep your body moving.....EXERCISE...if you do not use it you will loose it. But when you are having an extremely weak day do give in to your body as it is telling you to go easy on your self. Live to love so you can love to live.....give hugs freely, smiles freely....it is catchy! Take some time for YOU! Even if it is just sitting and resting....without a computer, phone or tv...just be with you...if you don't like being with you how in the world do you expect another to spend time with you which is enjoyable. Try to learn from your mistakes...I know this can be hard but if you keep repeating your same mistakes over the years one day you will notice that people have caught on to you and you might be all alone, or you can also allow your bad judgment cause you bitterness. Get off with bitterness and on with your life. And finally...PRAY...it will work wonders for your body, soul and spirit.....don't knock it till you tried it. Some may call prayer a crutch...let them...I would much rather have prayer as my crutch than an addictive or destructive habit which I could not or choose not to stop. So I have just shared with you some of the ways in which I try to keep my mentality in line.Wishing you all "happy moments" in your life today!
God Bless!
